What “free” usually means (and why it’s tricky)…
Sometimes it’s a broker deal (trade X lots → get VPS). Sometimes it’s a tiny trial… and sometimes it’s a shared box with random limits. It can be fine for quick checks — but for real EAs and live accounts, instability = $$ lost. If your robot needs low latency and no “surprises”, you’ll want a proper Windows VPS (or even a dedicated server).
- Broker-linked offers: good start, but read the small print (lots, min deposit, regions).
- Free trials: perfect to test RDP + MT5 setup… just don’t build a business on a 3-day trial.
- “Totally free” boxes: often slow, shared to the bone, sometimes Linux-only… meh.
